Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Coursebooking.com.au platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coursebooking.com.au (ABN to be provided), a company registered in Victoria, Australia ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
Coursebooking.com.au is an online platform that:
- Connects international students with registered student advisors
- Facilitates booking of consultation appointments
- Provides AI-assisted migration pathway assessments
- Lists Australian courses and registered training organisations (RTOs)
- Enables advisors to manage leads, appointments, and student records
We are a technology platform. We do not provide registered migration agent services or legal advice. Any migration-related information is general in nature only.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at info@coursebooking.com.au
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Bookings and Payments
Free consultations: Some advisors offer free consultations. These are confirmed immediately upon booking.
Paid consultations: Paid bookings are processed securely through Stripe. Payment must be completed at the time of booking. Your appointment is only confirmed once payment is verified.
Cancellations and refunds: Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual advisors. Please review the advisor's terms before booking. In general, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment may be eligible for a refund at the advisor's discretion.
We are not responsible for disputes between students and advisors regarding refunds. However, we will assist in resolving disputes where reasonable.
5. Advisor Responsibilities
Advisors registered on the Platform agree to:
- Provide accurate information about their qualifications, services, and pricing
- Honour confirmed bookings or provide adequate notice of cancellation
- Comply with all applicable Australian laws and professional standards
- Not misrepresent their credentials or services
- Handle student data in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988
We reserve the right to remove any advisor from the Platform who violates these obligations or receives substantiated complaints.
6. Google Calendar Integration
Advisors may optionally connect their Google Calendar to the Platform via OAuth. By connecting Google Calendar, you authorise us to:
- Read your calendar availability to prevent scheduling conflicts
- Create calendar events for confirmed appointments
We will only access calendar data necessary to provide the booking service. You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your advisor settings or from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Use of Google Calendar is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Platform
- Interfere with the Platform's security or normal operation
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Coursebooking.com.au or its licensors and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Migration assessment results are legally accurate or constitute migration advice
- Course listings are current or complete
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coursebooking.com.au will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to reputation. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
